Euro 2012 Match 7 - France v England

England take on France this evening in Euro 2012 Group D.

England boss Roy Hodgson has a fully-fit squad from after all 23 trained on Sunday, but he must decide whether Andy Carroll or Danny Welbeck get the nod up front as striker Wayne Rooney misses the first two matches through suspension.

At the back, Joleon Lescott is favourite to start alongside John Terry in central defence.

France have injury concerns over central midfielder Yann M'Vila, who is likely to be replaced by Alou Diarra or Blaise Matuidi.
Karim Benzema is expected to start up front suffering with a back problem.

France go into the game unbeaten in their last 21 matches, and are in goalscoring form having scored nine goals in their three warm-up matches.

France beat England 2-1 in their opening match of Euro 2004, the last competitive meeting between the two countries.
