Portugal advanced to the semis after a narrow 1-0 win over Czech Republic last Thursday, while reigning champions Spain advanced to the final four thanks to a 2-0 win over France on Saturday.
Germany reached the semi-finals in style, seeing off Greece 4-2 on Friday night to maintain their 100 per cent record at Euro 2012 following Group B wins over Portugal, Holland and Denmark in their opening three games of the tournament.
Sunday's final quarter-final saw Italy beat England 4-2 on penalties after 120 minutes of football in Kiev had ended without a goal.
